Search Engine Optimization & Website Updates for Vanderbilt Legends Club

Vanderbilt Legends Club

Website Updates & SEO: Search Engine Optimization

April 2012: May 15, 2012

Vanderbilt Legends Club, a private golf club with two championship golf courses and an elegant clubhouse perfect for dining or private events, came to Nashville Geek requesting help with the optimization of their online presence. The club had a beautiful new website, but it was in need of updated content, photography and search engine optimization.

Working closely with their team, we identified the online goals of the club, and developed a strategy to better position Vanderbilt Legends Club in search engines like Google and Yahoo, as well as strengthen the presence of the club on popular directory and review sites like Yelp.

Our search engine optimization package includes training and guidance for our clients on how to best utilize their newly optimized website. Website updates, news, blogs, social media profiles all play a part and should be used to enhance and build on the new search engine optimization tactics in place. Utilizing reporting tools to regularly measure and review website traffic, we’ve integrated weekly reviews into the clubs regular routine. It’s important to remember that your website and your digital reputation should always be growing, evolving and responding to your audience. That means regular updates and adjustments to your search engine optimization, website and social media profiles. Please contact us if you would like to discuss optimizing your online presence.

TIP: Never under estimate the power of professional photography! Your website is at times your clients first meeting with you, and you want to be professionally dressed. The photography of the beautiful courses and private event spaces paint the picture of a beautiful club for playing golf, and booking private events like wedding receptions or corporate outings. Your website development team can search optimize and drive traffic, but if your website and photography doesn’t look professional, you’ll likely loose the prospect in a quick click to the next website.
