Screen capture is disabled by Snapchat, although they cannot ‘guarantee ‘ the photo gets deleted. Snapchat has become very popular for teenagers, but not for the reason most want to hear. With photo sharing capabilities and automatic deletion – Snapchat has become a prime channel for sexting. With the firm belief that your photo will be deleted – users have less fear about the images they’re sending. We aren’t so sure. If someone wants to keep a compromising photo of you, you can bet they’ll find a way. Ask a politician.
