This represents the percentage of visitors who enter the site and then “bounce” or leave the website rather than continuing to stay and view more pages or content on the site. There is no industry standard minimum or maximum time in which a visitor must leave your site for a bounce to occur – this is determined by the session timeout of the analytical software.
